Abstract
This Decision lays down rules for derogations to the crop diversification and ecological focus area obligations of Member States for claim year 2022, in order to allow farmers to make use as much as possible of their available areas for the purpose of food production and feeding animals. These derogations aim at addressing the impact on the supply and demand for agricultural products by allowing for an increase of the total arable land area available for the production of food and feed.
