Abstract
This Decision recognizes the US Soybean Sustainability Assurance Protocol (‘SSAP’) voluntary scheme to demonstrate compliance of consignments of agricultural biomass from soybeans with Article 29(3) to (5) of Directive (EU) 2018/2001. The SSAP voluntary scheme shall provide accurate data on greenhouse gas emissions savings for consignments of agricultural biomass from soybeans and oblige economic operators to enter accurate information into the Union database on renewable fuels.

This Decision shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall apply until 1 April 2030.
