Abstract
This Regulation lays down some amendments to Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 2568/91 on the characteristics of olive oil and olive-residue oil and on the relevant methods of analysis. Firstly, it replaces the text in Annex II, which concerns the determination of free fatty acids, cold method. Secondly it amends certain provisions under Annex XII on methods for assessing the chemical and organoleptic characteristics of olive and olive-pomace oil.
