Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/1584 amending Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control.

This Regulation lays down some amendments to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008, which establishes detailed rules on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control. More specifically, the amendments concern rules on disease prevention and veterinary treatment in beekeeping (art. 25), rules on feeds for certain aquaculture animals (art. 25l) and use of certain products and substances in processing of food (art. 27). In addition, Annexes I (Fertilizers, soil conditioners and nutrients), II (Pesticides and plant protection products) and VIIIa (Products and substances authorized for use or addition in organic products of the wine sector) are replaced.
