Abstract
This Regulation sets out detailed provisions concerning the common monitoring and evaluation framework of the common agricultural policy. In particular it defines the indicators allowing for the assessment of the progress, effectiveness and efficiency of the common agricultural policy against its objectives as referred to in article 110 (2) of Regulation (EU) No. 1306/2013. Further the Regulation requires Member States to provide the European Commission with accurate and reliable information for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating the performance of the common agricultural policy.
