Abstract
Annexes II, V, VI, VIII, IX and XI to Regulation (EC) No. 999/2001 concerning the prevention and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies are amended as set out in the Annex to this Regulation. The amendments deal with (i) the determination of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) status in Member States; (ii) specified tissues considered to be risk materials; and (iii) marketing conditions applying to products of animal origin derived from or containing ruminant materials.
