Abstract
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 1151/2012 on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs, this Regulation lays down rules concerning the registration of a name of a protected designation of origin, a protected geographical indication or a traditional speciality guaranteed. Further provisions concern the definition of the geographical area, and the proof of origin. Article 6 regards procedural requirement for registration.
