Abstract
This Regulation lays down some amendments to Regulation (EC) No, 2100/94, which creates a Community regime for plant varieties allowing for the granting of industrial property rights valid throughout the Community (Community plant variety rights). In particular, article 29 in matter of compulsory licensing is replaced by the text laid down in article 1 of this Regulation. Compulsory licences shall be granted to one or more persons by the Community Plant Variety Office, upon application by the persons concerned, but only on grounds of public interest and after consulting the Administrative Council.
