Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2241/87 establishing certain control measures for fishing activities.

This Regulation sets out the measures to be applied to control fishing activities, so as to ensure compliance with legislation in force as regards conservation of fishery resources. Member States are required to carry out inspection within their territory and maritime waters. Specific provisions deal with monitoring of catches and use of fishing gear.
