Abstract
This Regulation lays down the annual fishing opportunities available to Union fishing vessels for fish stocks of certain deep-sea species in Union waters and in certain non-Union waters for the years 2021 and 2022, taking into account biological and socio-economic aspects whilst ensuring fair treatment between fishing sectors. Moreover, this Regulation sets out special provisions on the allocation of fishing opportunities, conditions for landing catches and by-catches, application of provisional total allowable catches, prohibitions and data submission relating to landings of quantities of stocks caught. The Annex sets out the total allowable catches for deep-sea species caught by Union fishing vessels in Union waters and in certain non-Union waters among Member States.
