Abstract
This Regulation establishes the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks applicable in the Baltic Sea for 2012. Furthermore, it amends Regulation (EC) No. 1124/2010 as regards the management of the fishing effort applicable to cod stocks in the Baltic Sea. These provisions apply to European Union fishing vessels operating in the Baltic Sea. Annex I fixes the Total Allowable Catches (TACs) applicable to European Union vessels in areas where TACs exist by species and by area; Annex II concerns fishing effort limits.
