Decision of the EU/Mauritania Joint Committee 2014/36/EU on the implementing measures for the Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and the financial contribution provided for by the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

This Decision contains the measures adopted by the EU/Mauritania Joint Committee entailing a review of some of the measures necessary for the application of the Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and financial contribution provided for in the fisheries partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. These measures apply to vessels fishing for crustaceans other than spiny lobster and crab, and to pelagic freezer trawlers. These provisions concern authorized fishing gear, minimum authorized mesh, sizes under which species may not be caught, and fishing opportunities.
