Decision No. 2/2003 of the Joint Veterinary Committee set up by the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products amending Appendices 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 11 to Annex 11 to the Agreement.

The present Decision has been adopted by the Joint Veterinary Committee (which has been set up under article 6 of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products) in order to amend Appendices 1 to 6 and 11 to Annex 11 of the Agreement. Appendix 1 lays down control measures and rules in matter of notification of diseases. Appendix 2 is concerned with animal health as regards the placing on the market of animal products (from the bovine, swine and caprine species). Appendix 3 applies to imports of live animals and certain animal products from third countries. Appendix 4 establishes zootechnical provisions, including those governing imports from third countries. Appendix 5 deals with checks and fees; Appendix 6 concerns animal products. Lastly, Appendix 11 specifies contact points.
