Abstract
New rules for food for specific use are given like those on the use of terms concerning the reduction or absence of sodium or salt content, the absence of gluten and provisions for foods for persons suffering from carbohydrate-metabolism disorders. Annex I is amended and replaced by an Annex on groups of foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses for which specific Directives will lay down specific provisions.
