Abstract
By virtue of this Agreement the Parties set out the rules and procedures which shall govern their cooperation in the fisheries sector with a view to promoting responsible fisheries in Guinea's fishing zones. The Agreement lays down the conditions governing access by European Community fishing vessels to Guinea's fishing zones. European Community fishing vessels may fish in Guinea's fishing zones only if they are in possession of a fishing authorization issued by Guinea according to this Agreement and the Protocol hereto.
