Protocol between the European Union and the Union of the Comoros setting out the fishing opportunities and financial contribution provided for in the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the two parties currently in force.

Abstract
By virtue of this Protocol the European Union and the Union of the Comoros set forth the fishing opportunities granted under article 5 of the Agreement in the fisheries sector between the European Community and the Union of the Comoros. These fishing opportunities concern migratory species for tuna seiners and surface longliners. The Protocol also establishes the financia contribution to be paid by the European Union and defines the method of payment. The Annex to the Protocol lays down the conditions governing fishing activities by European Union vessels in Comoros waters. These conditions include issue of fishing licences, catch reporting, transshipments and landings, observers on board, control and inspection.
