Abstract
The purpose of this Protocol is to implement the Agreement on a Sustainable Fisheries Partnership between the European Union and the Republic of Senegal. Both Parties reaffirm their commitment to promoting sustainable fishing and protecting marine biodiversity, in accordance with the principles of non‐discrimination, transparency and good governance. European Union vessels may engage in fishing activities in Senegal’s fishing zone only if they are in possession of a fishing authorization issued under this Protocol.
