Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and the financial contribution provided for by the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Mauritius.

This Protocol establishes the fishing opportunities granted under article 5 of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Mauritius. These fishing opportunities shall apply for a period of three years. Further the Protocol specifies the financial contribution to be paid by the European Union, as well as related methods of payment. The Annex lays down conditions for fishing activities carried out by European Union fishing vessels in Mauritius waters. These conditions include the issue of tuna fishing autorizations, catch reporting, and provisions on the Satellite Monitoring System (VMS).
