Abstract
The present Regulation lays down the common organization of the market in eggs. Within such organization, the following measures may be taken: (a) measures to promote better organization of production, processing and marketing; (b) measures to improve quality; (c) measures to permit the establishment of short-term and long-term forecasts; (d) measures to facilitate the recording of market price trends. In addition, marketing standards shall be adopted by the Council as regards quality, weight, packaging, storage, transport and presentation. Article 9 applies to exports. Article 16 provides for the setting up of a Management Committee for Poultrymeat and Eggs.

Notes
Council Regulation No. 122/67/EEC of 13 June 1967 on the common organization of the market in eggs is hereby repealed. The two Annexes are not available.
