Act to amend the act relative to common forests (No. 1198 of 1996).

This Act makes various amendments to the principal Act which provides for the management and conservation of common forests. The Amendments, inter alia, concern: (a) the sleeping partner (sect. 2); (b) the conservation of forests (sect. 4); permits for the division of common forests (sect. 5); the application of Chapter 10 of the Real Property Constitution Act to common forests (sect. 7); transfer of property rights in a common forests and division of forests (sects. 9-11); the Rules for common forests (sect. 13); the Forest Use Plan (sect. 34); Special provisions relative matters affecting property rights in common forests (sects. 38-48): supervision by the Central Forestry Agency (sect. 49); and the registration of rights of sleeping partners of common forests (sect. 56).
