Abstract
The amendments of the principal Act introduced by the present Act concern: permits for the dumping of mud (sect. 9); permits for the construction of installations in marine areas (sect. 10); and permits for the exploitation and exploration of the seabed and its subsoil. The amendments are made so as to provide for the transfer of tasks of the Ministry of the Environment to the Finnish environment centre established recently.
