Act to amend the Water Act (No. 646 of 1992).

This Act amends provisions of the principal Act relative to its application sphere, to conditions for the construction of waterworks, to use of water power, water channels, drainage, abstraction of groundwater and other uses of water in liquid form, water pollution, the water book of the Water Court and procedures before the Court, appeal against decisions of the Court, the local Environment Offices, and to various miscellaneous matters. Sections 15 and 18 of Chapter 9 concern the conditions of permit for the abstraction of groundwater and the diversion of water for use in liquid form. Section 5 of Chapter 20 provides for procedures of application for matters as prescribed in section 2 of the same Chapter and section 3 of Chapter 10 concerning waste water.
