Act amending the Water Act (611/2017).

This Act amends the Water in various provisions concerning, among other things, general rights and obligations and limitation of rights, permitted water management projects, hydropower projects, other activities involving water resources, and offences and penalties. Permission of the licensing authority is always required for specified water projects such as waterworks having effect on the water flow, infiltration of water in groundwater, removal of soil substances from the bottom of a water area ad hydropower projects.
