Act on the Bothnian Sea National Park (No. 326 of 2011).

The present Act establishes the Bothnian Sea National Park, with the aim of protecting the nature beneath the surface of the open sea in the Gulf of Bothnia, its archipelago and islets, the coastal wetlands, and the species occurring there, and to care for their natural surroundings, to preserve the natural and cultural heritage, as well as to foster interest in nature, education, and research.
