Act on the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (No. 997/2021).

The present Act applies to the preparation, management, evaluation, monitoring, coordination and implementation of the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund's program for Finland for the period 2021-2027. The Act supplements Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 and Regulation (EU) 2021/1139 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 July 2021. The Act contains 31 Sections divided into the following Chapters: 1. General provisions; 2. Competent authorities and other organs; 3. Measures that are supported, conditions for granting support and covered costs; 4. Application for and granting of support; 5. Payment and collection of support; 6. Information system for the program; 7. Special provisions; 8. Entry into force for the program.
Support under the Act may be granted for the construction, extension, repair or acquisition of buildings, constructions or facilities or for the acquisition of other tangible or intangible fixed assets (investment), for development activities based on a time-limited plan and for other measures specified in the programme.
