Abstract
The present Act establishes the Koloveden National Park, with the aim of protecting and preserving the archipelago nature in Lake Saimaa, the habitat of the Saimaa ringed seal, and the forest and mountain nature in southern Finland, as well as to promote interest in nature, outdoor recreation, and environmental research.
