Act on the Promotion of Plant Breeding (No. 896 of 1997).

This Act provides for the payment of a plant breeding and sale fee to the State Seed Testing Station (paras. 2-4); fee levels can be appealed to the National Board of Agriculture (para. 5); apportionment of State funds for the promotion of plant breeding equivalent to revenues from plant breeding fees (para. 6); plant-breeding subsidies (para. 7); penalties relating to false information regarding quality or variety of seeds under inspection (para. 9).
