Act relative to the establishment of municipal borders within the Finnish territorial waters (No. 483 of 1996).

In derogation of Act 73/77 concerning municipal borders this Act shall establish the borders of municipalities within the Finnish territorial waters with exception of Æland. As a general rule the territorial waters belong to the municipalities of which the main territory lies nearest to the waters (sect. 2). Sections 3 and 4 contain directions for the land survey offices to work out the borders of the respective provinces. Section 6 provides for appeal by municipalities and landowners against decisions of the land survey offices. (8 sections)
