Decree on Forest Management Associations (No. 1227 of 1998).

The present Decree contains rules complementing the Forest Conservation and Management Associations Act (Act No. 534 of 1998). It contains detailed procedural rules on the election of delegates for a forest management association and rules on the internal functioning of these associations. Amending Decree No. 1055 of 2014 mandates that, by April 30, 2015, the forest management association shall submit the financial statements, audit report, and activity report for the fiscal period ending December 31, 2014, to the Finnish Forest Agency. The activity report must include a statement regarding any timber delivered by the forest management association without written authorization from a forest owner.
