Abstract
The present Decree, adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, applies to new construction, expansion comparable to new construction, and extensive thorough renovation of poultry houses supported under the Law on Structural Support for Reindeer Husbandry and Natural Industries (986/2011) and the Law on Structural Support for Agriculture (1476/2007). The Decree contains general requirements as well as specific rules on planning of structures in animal areas, dimensioning of animal spaces, free-range chicken coop, outdoor runs for poultry, broiler rearing houses, turkey rearing houses, and ventilation and indoor climate.
