Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry laying down requirements for certain foodstuffs (No. 264 of 2012).

This Decree made pursuant to section 9§3 of the Food Act of 2006, contains provisions on the data that shall be provided in presentation of certain foods, in addition to other provisions on labelling. The requirements of this Decree shall not apply to food that has been legally manufactured and/or marketed in another Member State of the European Union or Turkey, or lawfully manufactured in an EFTA State which acceded to the EEA Agreement. Products on which information shall be provided include: ungraded eggs; sausages; edible potatoes; false morels (mushroom); cheeses and cheese products; and juices. The Decree also prescribes quality requirements for cheeses and juices.
