Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the production, sale, and import of plant material for vegetable crops (No. 394 of 2020).

The present Decree, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, applies to the production, sale, and import of plant material belonging to the genera and species listed in Annex 1. It does not apply to vegetable seeds. The Decree contains specific provisions on the approval and registration of suppliers of plant material; quality assurance of production; quality requirements for plant material; treatment of infected plant material; packaging of plant material for kitchen plants; plant passport; etc. The plant material must meet the health requirements as specified in Annex 3 and the requirements for other quality aspects as specified in Annex 4.
