Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry relative to notification of catch of sea salmon (No. 1359 of 1993).

This Decree prescribes the duty of professional fishermen and fish traders to report each week on fishing activities respectively purchase of salmon. The fisherman shall notify: (a) name and address; (b) fishing craft and registration number of the craft; (c) fishing area; (d) fishing gear used; (e) last week's catch in number and weight (sect. 2). The report shall be submitted to the Rural Activities District Offices and shall be used for statistical purposes also in relation to obligations under international fisheries rules for the Baltic.
