Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on shooting tests (No. 517 of 2017).

The present Decree, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, contains provisions on the content of the shooting test and how the test is to be conducted, the conditions for the approval of the shooting test, as well as the requirements for the location where the shooting test is conducted and the requirements for the firearms and ammunition, as well as for bows and arrows used in the shooting test. The Decree covers a Deer Shooting Test, Moose and Deer Shooting Test, Bear Shooting Test, and Bow Hunting Test. The shooting test is organized by the hunting association. Before the shooting test, the shooter must present to the examiner a valid hunting license or the hunting license for the upcoming year for which the shooter has paid the fee, and provide proof of identity upon request.
