Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the trade of oilseed and fiber crop seeds (No. 390 of 2020).

The present Decree, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, applies to the production, certification, marketing, and import of seeds of the oil and fiber crops indicated in Article 1. The aim of the Decree is to ensure that the seeds are of high quality and that they are not contaminated with harmful pests or diseases. The Decree contains detailed provisions on approval of packing plant and their supervision; registration requirements; inspection of non-designated commercial seed; sealing and labelling of sales packages containing certified seed and non-designated commercial seed; control of uniformity of seed lots imported and exported; control of basic seed; etc.
