Decree of the Ministry of the Environment on applications and notifications concerning biocidal products and their active substances (No. 419 of 2014).

The present Decree, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, contains provisions on the information that must be attached to an application for the approval of a biocidal product. The required information is described in Annex 1 and 2. The information about the active substances in biocidal products and about the biocidal products mentioned in Annexes 1 and 2 must be based on reliable and well-documented studies or investigations. The information concerning the physical and chemical properties of chemical biocidal products and their active substances, as well as information about the impact of biocidal products on health and the environment, must be based on studies conducted using the methods described in Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008. Section 5 contains rules on the information required for research and development activities in production as referred to in Section 34, Subsection 1 of the Chemicals Act.
