Decree of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Affairs relative to quality requirements and the inspection and analysis of household water (No. 74 of 1994).

This Decree is based on section 54 of the Public Health Act (No. 763 of 1994). The Decree formulates quality standards for water used as drinking water and water used only for the production, processing, treatment, conservation or sale of foodstuffs. It shall not apply to mineral water or water used for medical purposes (sect. 2). Quality criteria are specified in the Schedule. Controls shall be carried out by municipal health authorities. The Regulation implements Commission Regulation 80/778/EEG as forming part of Annex XX of the EEA Agreement. (8 sections completed by a Schedule)
