Decree of the Ministry of Trade and Industry relative to nutritional value declarations for foodstuffs (No. 1496 of 1993).

This Decree concerns the indication of nutritional values of foodstuffs which are intended for sale to individual consumers and to large scale consumers (No. 1496 of 1993). The declaration concerns energy values and indications on proteins, carbo-hydrates, fibres, vitamins and other ingredients listed in section 2. The declaration shall contain the various types of information as specified in sections 6 to 11 and the Attachment. As far as labelling is concerned provisions of section 14 of the Regulation on labelling (No. 795/91) shall also apply (sect. 14). (16 sections completed by an Attachment)
