Abstract
This Decree is based on paragraphs 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Ordinance 1330/88 FF concerning the implementation and the scope of the Fishery Agreement entered into with Sweden and the Soviet Union. It defines catch-quotas for Finnish vessels with regard to following fish species: sprat, codfish and salmon. Quotas are also set for the aforesaid species and baltic herring. The latter has to be caught west of 22°57"2' longitude in the Finnish fishery zone. It also covers the notification procedure concerning entrance into the fishery zone of the host country. The relevant coastal radio stations of the host country have to be notified upon entrance into the relevant fishery zone. The radio stations will be submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the coast guard branch of the archipelago between Sweden and Finland.
