Government Decree on compensation payment (No. 236 of 2015).

The present Government Decree contains provisions regarding the implementation of compensation payments as referred to in Regulation (EU) No 1305/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The compensation payment is part of the Rural Development Programme for Mainland Finland 2014-2020, which has been approved by the European Commission. Compensation payments can be granted and disbursed during the period when the development program is in force, within the framework of the funds allocated in the state budget.
Compensation payment can be granted for arable land according to section 4(1) of the Government Decree on environmental compensation (235/2015). Compensation payment can also be granted for permanent grassland not used as arable land, in addition to those cases specified in Section 3.
