Abstract
The present Government Decree lays down rules concerning eligibility requirements for persons carrying out official controls of food of animal origin. It complements Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/624, of 8 February 2019, and establishes provisions provided for by that EU Regulation. The Decree contains seven articles and lays down detailed rules applying to official veterinarians carrying out official controls in slaughterhouses, in ante-mortem inspections outside slaughterhouses, in meat production plants, in milk producing plants, and in egg packing plants.
