Government Decree on Environmental Protection (No. 713 of 2014).

The present Decree concerns primarily environment permits applied for and issued in accordance with provisions of the Environment Protection Act. The Decree consists of 45 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: (1) Competence of the permit authorities; (2) Permit applications; (3) Processing of permit applications and permit decisions; (4) Notification procedure; (5) Supervision and monitoring; (6) Special provisions.
Environmental permits are handled at the state or municipal level, and apply the forest industry, the metal industry, energy production, the chemical industry, activities using organic solvents, mineral mining or extraction of soil substances, manufacture of food or feed, animal stables or fish farms, treatment of wastewater, etc.
