Government Decree on environmental protection requirements for liquid fuel distribution stations (No. 314 of 2020).

The present Government Decree applies to the operations at liquid fuel distribution stations that are subject to registration under Section 116 of the Environmental Protection Act (527/2014) and whose fuel tanks have a total volume of at least 10 m3. It also contains minimum requirements for environmental protection for operations at liquid fuel distribution stations that require an environmental permit under Section 30 of the Environmental Protection Act. The Decree contains specific rules on the content of the registration notification; placing of activities; the technical design of the distribution stations; protection of soil and groundwater; treatment and disposal of oil-contaminated wastewater; restrictions of emissions into the air; noise control; waste management; periodic inspection and examination of facilities and structures; etc.
