Government Decree on environmental protection requirements for medium-sized energy-producing units and energy-producing facilities (No. 1065 of 2017).

The present Government Decree applies to energy-producing units that use solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel and whose fuel capacity is at least 1 megawatt but less than 50 megawatts (medium-sized energy-producing units), as well as to energy-producing facilities that include one or more medium-sized energy-producing units covered by the scope of the Decree (medium-sized energy-producing facilities). The Decree contains specific rules on the placing of operations; the content of and submission of the registration notification; emission limit values for emissions to the air; noise control; treatment and management of wastewater from purification equipment and oil-contaminated wastewater; handling and storage of solid and liquid fuels; waste management; control of the operation as well as its emissions and environmental impact; etc.
