Government Decree on food hygiene in the production and supply of raw milk (No. 699 of 2013).

The present Government Decree applies to food business operators who supply raw milk directly to consumers in an amount that exceeds that of the Government Decree on certain activities associated with low risk to food safety (No. 1258 of 2011). It also applies to operators supplying raw milk to approved food establishment, from which the milk is placed on the market as non-heat-treated milk, and to establishments and other food premises that place raw or other non-heat-treated milk on the market.
It contains provisions specifying compulsory information to be given to consumers; requirements for primary production, including on technical and functional requirements for milk production units and milk quality requirements; requirements for food premises; requirements for milk handling premises; requirements and obligations of laboratories; etc.
Annex1 concern technical construction and functional requirements for milk production units. Annex 2 concern investigation of STEC bacteria in cattle and measures for detecting STEC bacteria in feces. Annex 3 concerns microbiological criteria for raw milk. Annex 4 concern technical construction and functional requirements for food premises.
