Government Decree on implementation of animal aid financed by the European Union (No. 79 of 2023).

The present Government Decree lays contains provisions on administrative controls, on-site inspections and other issues related to support and compensations concerning production-linked income support referred to in Section 4(1) points 1–7 of the Act on European Union Direct Support to Farmers (1332/2022); compensation for animal welfare as referred to in Section 3(2) point 3 of the Act on Certain Compensations for Rural Development (1333/2022); and on environmental agreements for the breeding of native breeds as referred to in Section 5(1) point 6 of the Act on Certain Compensations for Rural Development (1333/2022).
The Decree consists of 27 Sections organized in the following chapters: 1. General provisions; 2. Administrative controls; 3. Contols on-site; 4. Reductions and penalties regarding support; and 5. Entry into force.
