Abstract
The present Government Decree lays down rules complementing the Act on the Metsähallitus (Forestry Management Agency) (No. 234 of 2016). One board member of the Metsähallitus shall be appointed within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and one within the Ministry of the Environment. The Decree further contains provisions on the duties of the Agency, decision making rules, fees, regional delegations, delegations to be appointed within the Sami homeland area, activities of the delegations, among other matters.
