Government Decree on notifiable animal stalls (No. 138 of 2019).

The present Government Decree applies to the construction, extension, and operation of such animal stalls for which a notification must be submitted in accordance with Section 115 a of the Environmental Protection Act (527/2014). The Decree contains provisions on minimum distance of certain buildings to schools, daycare centers, hospitals, etc.; restrictions of certain odor emissions; utilization of stable manure; handling of certain types of wastewater and feed waste; handling of dead animals; monitoring of operations and reporting; etc.

Annex 2 - Maximum number of animals per hectare suitable for the spreading of stable manure.
