Abstract
This Decree defines the mission statement, duties and internal organization of the Ministry of the Environment. The Ministry shall promote a sustainable environment. Duties of the Ministry shall be in the following fields: air pollution and climate change; environmental damage; environmental aspects of the use of genetic engineering and the use of chemicals; environmental impact assessment; protection of wild species and habitats; and landscape management and landscape protection.
