Government Decree on State Aid for Projects Concerning Urban Water Management and Reduction of Harmful Substances in the Years 2020‒2025 (No. 669 of 2020).

The present Government Decree contains provisions on special subsidies pursuant to Section 5, subsection 3 of the State Aid Act (688/2001), which are granted from state funds for projects concerning urban water management and reduction of harmful substances in it. Urban water is taken to mean stormwater and wastewater from densely populated areas. The Decree contains detailed provisions on supported projects, application for subsidy, assessment of and limitations for granting subsidies, maximum amount of the subsidy, etc. Subsidies can be applied for by municipalities, joint municipal authorities, companies owned by municipalities, and other publicly owned entities, associations, businesses, and other associations, excluding state agencies and institutions.
